The North
American Alliance of Chemical Engineers (NAAChE) was founded March 4, 2000,
as a not-for-profit Chemical Engineering organization in NAFTA.
The Founding
Members are the Instituto Mexicano de Ingenieros Quimicos (IMIQ), the
Canadian
Society for Chemical Engineering (CSChE) and the American Institute of Chemical
Engineers (AIChE). Membership is limited to a chemical engineering organization
qualifying as a not-for-profit organization in a NAFTA country. Associate
Membership is available to organizations linked to the practice or theory of
chemical engineering or chemistry and supporting the NAAChE objectives.
An
individual may not be a Member or Associate Member of NAAChE, but may become an
Alliance Member of another Member or Associate Member organization.
